Each
lesson begins and concludes with a puppy play
session. The five basic commands are taught (come,
sit, drop, stay and stand), as well as nail
clipping. Discussions are held on toilet training,
appropriate behaviour in the home and outside,
feeding / vaccination/ worming regimes, potential
dangers such as poisons (chemical, food &
plant) and responsibilites such as registration,
microchipping and council registration.
The classes are a lot of fun for both puppy
and family (children are welcome). Each weekly
class runs for about an hour and includes handouts
and small gifts. Register by phoning 9752 3555
during business hours.

On Saturday 15th
November 2008, the clinic celebrated 15 years of
providing personalised pet care to the community.
Free attractions sponsored by the clinic included
an Animal Petting Farm and SnakeBusters - a
reptile show featuring regular appearances by
pythons and venomous snakes. There were also doggy
/ moggy showbags handed out, a hydrobath, and
balloons for the children. A good day was had by
all.
